CANINE-lovers will help raise vital funds for the Margaret Green Animal Rescue in a Sunday sponsored walk.
The three mile event (there is a shorter route too) takes place around  Burnbake Forest between Corfe Castle and Studland on April 14 from 11am.
Pooches will receive a ‘Thank You’ Doggie Bag and all monies raised from the event will go to Margaret Green Animal Rescue at Church Knowle, Corfe.
The big hearted team at Margaret Green Animal Rescue take in pets that have become homeless due to a change in circumstances, or that have been neglected, mistreated or abandoned.
Tickets will be on sale to win a four night, two bedroom luxury lodge midweek break for up to four people (to be taken outside of school holidays) and a bespoke pet portrait painting by Cliff Towler from the Creative Gallery, Wareham.
Staff at Burnbake will be opening one of the site's luxury lodges for viewing.
Zoe Pattison, reservations manager said: "We have just made two of our lodges dog-friendly for the first time, so this seemed like a great way to celebrate that and raise money for a fantastic cause." Burnbake's Snack Shack will be offering drinks and refreshments and there will be a few stalls to browse.
To take part in the walk, please download a sponsor form at burnbake.com or
