A recruitment drive is being staged by The New Leaf Company, the social enterprise arm of charitable housing association BCHA. New Leaf is currently looking to fill roles, including customer advisor, gardener, multi-trade operatives, painter/decorator and labourer in its expanding repairs and maintenance team.

An open day is being held at BCHA’s base at St Swithuns House, 21 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday December 13.

Anyone looking for a new position or are just interested in finding out more about New Leaf is invited to attend.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be current employees of New Leaf to answer any questions.

Because the New Leaf Company is a social enterprise organisation it means all profits generated are reinvested back into the community to improve the lives and the environment of local people living and working in Bournemouth and Poole.

The organisation also operates to tackle social problems, improve communities, people’s life chances and the environment.

New Leaf Repairs Business Operations Manager Michelle Embling said: “This open day is a marvellous opportunity for anyone hoping to fill one of our vacancies to find out more about New Leaf.”

The New Leaf Company, through its repairs and maintenance team, employs dozens of people to carry out repairs and maintenance, cleaning and gardening of the BCHA residential properties.

The New Leaf Company also provides residential housing and commercial repairs and maintenance, a co-working hub, catering contracts, conference and training rooms, office rental, gardening and cleaning.
