New customer service host in place at the Dolphin Shopping Centre

The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole has hired a new guest host to further develop its customer service offering. The shopping centre welcomes Caroline Taylor as customer service guest host to provide a personalised and proactive level of customer service for visitors to the Dolphin.

Caroline is responsible for providing customers with information about Poole and the shopping centre, advising on directions and answering questions about events at the Dolphin, nearby accommodation and amenities. Caroline is also required to liaise with tenants about any offers or promotions scheduled to take place, in order to keep shoppers updated.

Prior to this role, Caroline was head team coach at Next in the centre. For over 10 years, Caroline was responsible for co-ordinating all in store Next training and customer service training. Caroline also worked as shop floor supervisor at Next.

Caroline Taylor, customer service guest host at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: “I’m delighted to have been given this new role at the centre. I’ve worked at the Dolphin Shopping Centre in retail for the last 14 years, which has set me in good standing to understand the retail environment. It’s great liaising with shoppers and helping them find exactly what they are looking for.”

John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: “You can find Caroline in the centre from Tuesdays through to Saturdays. She is mobile in the centre and is always happy to help customers.

“Hiring Caroline is part of our ongoing commitment to continuously improve the shopping experience for our customers. In this digital age, where interaction can be rather faceless, we wanted to ensure we had someone in the centre to provide face-to-face interaction and customer satisfaction.”
